Skawina’s engine cooling plant is the largest and oldest Valeo site in Poland. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generation of innovative heat exchangers, i.e., engine coolers, oil coolers, air turbocharger coolers, air-conditioning and complete engine cooling systems (cooling modules), which in addition to their basic functions allow to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances including carbon dioxide.
Currently for our entity Valeo Thermal Systems in Skawina we recruit Material Planning/Production Control Manager.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
Lead and manage the Procurement and Scheduling teams for the entire site.
Define team objectives and KPIs and monitor their achievement.
Coordinate and manage the site SIOP and MPS processes, including leading monthly SIOP and weekly MPS meetings.
Ensure realistic and consistent production plans and effective management of the site capacity and workload.
Identify and manage internal and external bottlenecks related to production capacity, component availability and suppliers.
Coordinate actions with suppliers, production, logistics, purchasing and other internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of production.
Coordinate and manage demand for serial components from suppliers, including supplier forecasts and significant changes in customer requirements.
Ensure accurate SAP data and information required for effective material planning and supplier requirements.
Monitor supplier delivery performance and measure the daily service rate for each supplier; define and follow up improvement action plans.
Manage and optimize component inventory levels and lead actions aimed at reducing stock and achieving inventory targets.
Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation plans in cooperation with Logistics and External Flow.
Manage logistics and operational issues with suppliers and external logistics partners, including returnable packaging availability for suppliers.
JOIN OUR TEAM IF YOU HAVE:
Min. 3 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Material Planning or Production Control.
Knowledge of SAP and logistics/planning systems.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Very good knowledge of English and Polish
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.
