As a Maintenance Trainee at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV, you will gain hands-on experience in the upkeep and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities, supporting our production operations.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist senior maintenance technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
* Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to aid in repair and maintenance activities.
* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and thoroughly.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, while performing maintenance tasks.
* Support the installation of new equipment and machinery.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
* Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields is a plus.
* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
* Strong willingness to learn and develop practical maintenance skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
* Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed.
