About the Role:
As a Finance Intern, you will:
- Support for closing reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts of one of our production site.
- Examine financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations: Support reliability of financial statements (MAF/IFRS rules compliance, focus on capitalized R&D expenses)
- Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records: ensure accuracy of management control and financial information in the ERP system of the site
- Assess financial operations, identify risks and challenges, and make best-practices recommendations to management & Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits:
- Business Plan and Budget preparation and ad-hoc analysis in regards of R&D: Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records
- Assist Business Management Controller with various other special projects as needed.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures and identify potential risks for fraud: Support of R&D internal audit IC2 / external audit for the region
- Ensure compliance with MAF, IFRS and internal controls
What you Should Have:
- You are a student currently enrolled in courses pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience with Excel and Google Applications is preferred.
