Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CO-OP/CCU Industrial to join our team at Valeo North America. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the industrial sector, contributing to projects focused on Continuous Improvement and operational excellence. The CO-OP/CCU Industrial will support various manufacturing processes, analyze data, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement.
* Support the development and implementation of new processes, tools, and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to production issues.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to achieve project goals.
* Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Job Qualifications:**
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
* Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
