We are looking for a System Engineer in the anSWer team developing ADAS functions in our R&D Center in Prague. System Engineer is a specialist with overall knowledge of the whole system - SW, sensors etc. System Engineer is part of the development process from very beginning (concept definition) to end of project (validation, serial production). At any development phase System engineer works in various roles - advisor, analyst, investigator, developer, problem solver etc. Additionally, a System Engineer has to be able to present his work products professionally to the customer.
YOUR CHALLENGES?
Elicit, manage, and review internal and customer requirements, specifications, and system-level architecture.
Define functional designs and technical standards while ensuring strict adherence to standardization rules.
Develop, verify, and simulate system models, including engineering design calculations (worst-case and statistical), coding, and validation.
Ensure robust design and validation in line with product group economic targets and cost constraints.
Support internal and supplier design reviews to ensure quality and compliance across full or partial product scopes.
Perform root cause analysis, preliminary hazard analysis (PHA), and Functional Safety (FuSA) risk assessments.
Debug complex system-level issues during integration and execute system calibration for vehicle applications.
Perform all engineering activities in full compliance with the Product Group/Product Line (PG/PL) Development Plan, processes, and design rules.
Track task progress, report regularly to management, and escalate technical or project risks proactively.

Finished university-level education in the area of Robotics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field
Experience with development of software or electrical product
2+ years of experience in system engineering in automotive
Interest in automotive smart sensing and/or autonomous driving
Good level of English to communicate within international teams
Proactive, quality oriented engineering attitude and team spirit
Driver´s License B
