Crossing over multiple engineering domains(including software, hardware, and mechanical engineering) you will design the overall product system architecture and appropriately allocate requirement specifications to each domain. You can develop higher technical expertise as an engineer by engaging in upstream processes that design the "entire product" rather than just a "single component."
